Meet some of our Helping Hands
Our board is comprised of passionate people who dedicate their time and energy to help support our mission of helping those less fortunate.

Mila Beans
CHIEF JOY OFFICER
Mila, a Bichon and Shih Tzu mix, is the newest addition to our board of directors. She was born on July 7, 2021 and came into our family that September. Her role at George’s Helping Hand is to bring joy to everyone around her. To date, we believe she’s due for a major promotion!

Bill Stavros
PRESIDENT & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Bill is a big believer in helping people less fortunate than himself. Watching his charity bowling event (Bowl for George) grow in popularity, he was inspired to launch George's Helping Hand in 2015—knowing this organization would allow him and his team to positively impact a wider scope of people. When he isn’t performing his beloved charity work, Bill can be found steering the ship at Blueprint Interactions: a sales, marketing and customer experience consultancy he launched in 2015.
In his (limited) free time, Bill enjoys cooking, watching comedy, and playing sports. While not known for his superior athleticism, he is particularly keen to tell anyone who will listen about the time he scored 16 points in the fourth quarter of a championship basketball game. Asked about the rest of his basketball career, he simply counters with, "That's irrelevant."

Neha Patel
VICE-PRESIDENT
Having spent most of her successful career ideating, facilitating, and leading a pipeline of various groundbreaking products within the pharmaceutical industry, Neha is now the founder of Blueprint Innovation, an R&D strategy consulting firm.
She is an avid sports fan (go Yankees, Cowboys & Knicks!) and an excellent athlete. In fact, she can consistently hit fastballs at 80 MPH—much to her husband Bill’s surprise! When she’s not channeling her inner Babe Ruth, Neha enjoys spending time at the beach.
Neha earned a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey.

Toula Tsiamis
SECRETARY
Toula is the co-owner of Adam's Restaurant and the Rio Grande Diner—both located in Wildwood, NJ. Adam’s, a family-style restaurant, is in fact ranked as a Top-10 establishment in North Wildwood by TripAdvisor! Toula enjoys participating in various community initiatives, and it’s perhaps no surprise that delivering meals to families in need is her favorite way to help.In her spare time, Toula enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach. And although Toula is Bill’s sister, she isn’t prone to making bad bets like her brother (see: Sachin’s profile).
She holds a degree in Environmental and Biological Science from Rutgers University.

Sachin Patel
TREASURER
Sachin, Neha's brother, is currently the president of Innovative Resin Systems: a leading manufacturer of high-performance adhesives, coatings, and sealants. A big believer in giving back, Sachin has assisted with various nonprofit initiatives over the years—which includes helping to spearhead work for the extremely successful Jammy Jam Foundation.
Like his sister, Sachin is also an avid Yankees, Cowboys, and Knicks fan and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Bill, on one occasion, announced that Sachin wouldn’t be able to hit his wiffle ball pitch. Well, let's just say the first ball made contact and traveled quite a distance. Bill has—wisely, we believe—vowed to stop betting.
Not only does Sachin hold a degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, but he also walked on to the VCU Rams baseball team (a fact Bill should’ve kept in mind before betting against him).
